1st board breaks

The boys have been taking Karate for a while now. They absolutely love it! Both have already gone from white belt to yellow belt and Alex is getting ready to test for his orange belt next Thursday. Tonight, they both had their first board break. Of course, my camera didn't shoot when Alex kicked. I did get a good picture right before though. Vin's picture was perfectly timed....check them out! My boys kick butt!!!

The 1st day of school

Here we are again, the 1st day of school. It seems like it starts earlier and earlier every year. We've been back in school for 2 full weeks already! Alex started his last year of elementary school and so far, he absolutely loves 5th grade. Vincent is having a blast in 2nd grade and still thinks he is the mayor of the school.

Summer 2009

We spent a beautiful long weekend on Jekyll Island and in Savannah before the boys went back to school. Jekyll island wasn't all it is cracked up to be, but the boys had fun. Savannah was great! One of Vin's favorite people in the whole world is Paula Deen so both the boys really got a kick out of eating at the Lady and Sons restaurant.

We also got to spend a few weeks in FL with our family. Everything is well and it sure was great to see everyone. All the kids are getting so big, I don't know where time is going.
