Ohio - Labor Day Weekend

Finally, after soooo many long years, they are within driving distance. We were able to spend the weekend in Ohio visiting with my brother-in-law, sister-in-law and our nieces Alyssa and Alexis. We had the best weekend and it's the first of many to come! No longer will there be years between our visits!!

On Saturday, we all celebrated Karen's 40th Birthday. The cake may look pretty, but the plates and decorations were BLACK. Sorry Karen, I had to lol.

On Sunday, we took a ride out to the Ohio Renaissance Festival. I think a good time was had by all despite the heat. We even got Oma to ride the camel. Check out the picture! Alexis and Alex both agreed that it was better than they imagined.
